Store Policies

Thank you for shopping at 1982Jewelry.com. We hope you enjoy it and come back often. We are committed to giving you the most friendly and satisfying online shopping experience.

Please read the following before placing an order! By placing an order with our company, you will be agreeing to adhere to these policies. We process all orders in batches to eliminate mistakes and optimize organization.

 

  • Most 1982jewelry manufacturers add and discontinue styles and colors on a regular basis without informing 1982jewelry beforehand. We will do everything possible to avoid substitutions providing we can contact you on time. Please make an effort to post a second color choice or second wig style choice in the “Comments” section of your order form so that we can still fill your order if your original selection is either on backorder, or has been discontinued.

  • If a customer wishes to contact us about an issue, we require an Invoice Number for the transaction you are inquiring about. If you leave a phone message inquiring about an order, it must be clear and the Invoice Number must be provided. Emails must also include the Invoice Number and the brand and style of the items you are inquiring about.

  • We reserve the right to include comments from our Customer on our site in the “Customer Comments” section, however, only the first name or initials are included, and no information that could possible identify the customer is ever used. If Customers specifically request that their comments not be used in this manner, we will comply with this request.

  • We respect our Customer's right to privacy, and all orders are shipped in standard U.S. Postal Priority Mail packaging, or in plain, brown boxes.

  • For shipments to destination outside the United States, Customs Regulations require that we state the contents of the package on paperwork that is sealed in a pouch on the outside of the box.
  • We consider our site to be “Transgender Friendly” and will process orders, and/or respond to all emails, phone calls or written correspondence from anyone interested in our products, regardless of gender preference or affiliation.

  • Hours of Operation:
    Monday- Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time)
    We will take orders online 24 hours, 7 days a week. Weekend orders will be processed on Monday morning.

 


Secure Ordering
Our Online Order System uses industry-standard Internet SSL Encrypted Security. Therefore, you can be assured that all the personal information you give us to process your order will be protected and sent safely.

Ordering Policies:

  • Orders must be received in our office by 10:00 am Pacific Time, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) to be processed the same day. If using Phone order, there may be a delay of several hours before the order is transmitted to our office. If immediate order processing is required, the order must be placed through our secure online order form.

  • Due to internal order processing policies of some of our suppliers, there may be a one-business day delay in processing orders even when an order is received by 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time.

  • All sales are final on the following items: Cubic Zirconia jewelry, Fashion Necklace, Fashion Earring, Fashion Bracelet,Other Accessories items.

  • When a credit card transaction is declined or comes back as invalid due to incorrect information provided by the Customer, we will impose a fee of $5.00.

  • We reserve the right to require payment by Money Order, Cashier's Checks or larger orders, international orders, and for orders where the Customer's shipping address and billing address do not match exactly.

  • In case of back order delay, or discontinued items, Customer will be contacted and given the option to wait for any out of stock items, select another items, opt for an in-store credit, or cancel this portion of the order.

  • IMPORTANT: Our current shopping cart system does not allow for in-store credits to be automatically subtracted. Therefore, in order to use your in-store credit, you must place your order by phone, fax, or mail. The appropriate Invoice Number and the amount of the credit card must be referenced, and this amount will be manually subtracted when we process your order in-house.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • We do our best to check for accuracy all information provided to our Customers. However we cannot be responsible for typographical errors on our site, in printed catalogs, or pricelists which result in incorrect pricing, color availability, or product description. We appreciate hearing from our customers when such errors are found.


Due to the State and Federal Health Department Regulations on the sale of jewelrys and hair additions, the following policies must be enforced:

  • We offer one exchange, NO REFUNDS WILL BE PERMITTED.

  • Merchandise eligible for exchange must be returned within 7 days of receipt. If more time is needed to select a replacement for the items returned, Customer may request an in-store credit. See Ordering Policies above for more information about in-store credits.

  • We must retain the full amount of any item on backorder to keep on Lay-Away. When the item is back in stock we will ship it immediately. Due to credit card companies' policies, we cannot charge back any amount to your card for out of stock items after 45 days.

  • Items purchased from the Inventory Reduction Sale are also exempt from our Exchange Policy, except in cases of defective merchandise, and may not be returned for exchange.

  • If your items were sent directly from the manufacturer without a 1982jewelry.com invoice, please email or call our office and we will provide your invoice number.

  • If the value of the items sent as a replacement is more than the value of the items returned for exchange, this amount, including all applicable restocking and shipping fees, will be charged to the same credit card used to place the original order, unless an alternate credit card number is provided on the Exchange form .


Change Order Policy:

  • If the customer wishes to change the brand, style and/or color of any items after the order has been processed, but BEFORE it has shipped, a minimum $15.00 Change Order Fee will be assessed for each item changed.

  • If the request to change the order is received AFTER it has been processed and shipped, the Customer must follow the Exchange Policy above.

  • Sometimes we are able to add more items to an existing order if it is not yet in process. Please contact us via email, or at our office number and we will be able to tell you whether adding to your current order is possible. If not, we will process a new order for you and can often combine your two orders to save on shipping.

 

Out of Stock Policy :

  • The most important thing to keep in mind when ordering is, our stock balances fluctuate throughout the day with sales demand and stock that we receive from manufacturers. Items are constantly being sold and our inventory is constantly being replenished. Many "out-of-stock" items are excellent products and are available for purchase, but we don't always stock these items in our inventory. If the item is identified as "Out of Stock," we will be happy to special order these items for you, and have them shipped in a timely fashion. Most items are shipped within two (2) weeks.

  • Just because the item you ordered is NOT identified as, "out-of-stock," does not necessarily mean that it will be in-stock at the moment you order it. We will notify you as soon as possible if the item you ordered is out-of-stock. First, we notify you, via email, and give you three (3) days to reply. If we have not received an emailed reply from you, we will then try to contact you by calling the phone numbers that you provide us on our website. Please be sure the email address and telephone numbers are accurate and current.

  • Some items that are listed for sale on our site have not yet been released from the manufacturer. We place these items on the site so that consumers may pre-order the items. Pre-orders are reserved with up-front payment on a first come, first serve basis. You may ALSO request to be placed on a "notify list," and we will let you know when the products are in-stock and available for delivery. Be advised, prepaid orders always get PRIORITY on delivery.

 

Cancellation Fees :

  • 1982jewelry will charge you a $5.00 PER ITEM cancellation fee if your order is returned to us because of a bad address, refused upon delivery, or if not cancelled within 24 hours of placing your order.

  • Please check your address before finalizing your order!

Note: We need your accurate billing name, address, phone number, and EMAIL ADDRESS. If we cannot contact you about a problem, your order will not be processed in a timely manner.

 

Discreet Shipping :
All orders shipped from Loa Angeles, will not mention the word "XXXXX" anywhere on the outside of the shipping package. Your shipment will be delivered discreet usually in a generic brown cardboard box and the shipping label will state: Tow Brothers Inc or 1982jewelry.com

Personal Information :
All your personal information is kept private. All information is used exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling your order and making your buying experience a success. Strict guidelines are adhered in order to keep your personal information private. Periodically 1982jewelry.com may run an inventory special. These specials are exclusive to our website and are sent as electronic notices. At any time you may unsubscribe to our notices by sending an unsubscribe email to coto333@homail.com

Online Order :
We use a secure server for your privacy and security. Online payment using the above mentioned credit cards could be made in the following way:

Your name (to make sure no one is fraudulently using your card)

  • your billing address (to make sure you are authorized to use the card)
  • your telephone number (so we can reach you for further information)
  • your email (so we can send order confirmations to you)
  • your credit card type, number and expiration date.

 

Return Policy :
THERE ARE NO RETURNS ON ANY ITEMS. Please read our exchange policy below before purchasing.


Exchange Policy :
Exchanges may be made only if your product is eligible. (Please see list below) We reserve the right to refuse the exchange of any items that have been worn, damaged, or had the tags removed. If an item we receive for exchange has been worn, the tags removed, or the item deemed unacceptable for exchange, there will be a 20% acceptance fee incurred in addition to restocking fees and shipping charges. We reserve the right to return to you any unacceptable pieces. All packaging for product must be in tact and not damaged in any way. 1982jewelry.com is only able to exchange for another item from the same manufacturer as originally purchased. Please note: Defective items will be replaced by the manufacturer.
Exchanges must be requested within 5 business days of receipt of products and have a Return for Exchange Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number assigned.

Exchange merchandise must be received within 8 business days after an RMA number has been issued.

PRODUCTS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR EXCHANGE :

  • Exchange policies are mandated by the manufacturer. We have no authority to change this policy. Any items returned without an exchange authorization number (RMA) will be refused by 1982jewelry.com

  • If you're eligible for an exchange please proceed and read the following instructions:
    To request an RMA number you must e-mail your request to coto333@homail.com

  • You will receive your RMA number via e-mail including your restocking fee, return shipping address, and instructions.

  • Please note that your RMA number must be clearly marked

Your original order number. *This is very important.
The reason for your exchange and the replacement style name, number, and color of your replacement piece.

Store Credits :
We do not issue any cash or credit card refunds. Credits are issued through online credit vouchers only. These vouchers are valid for purchase of any of the items in our collection at 1982jewelry.com

Back Orders :
If a backorder occurs on your order, it will be promptly sent to you as soon as it arrives! If you don't receive it in a reasonable length of time, please let us know at: coto333@homail.com

Shipping Information :
Please note: If shipping address differs from billing address the company reserves the right to send orders to the billing if the shipping address cannot be verified.

FREE Shipping :

  • We only provide free shipping when customer purchase $500 or more.
  • Free Shipping is only offered for “Ground shipping” for United States Customers only - Excluded: Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico.

Shipping Destinations :
At this time, 1982jewelry, ships to the United States and to the foreign countries.
Shipping Charges are subject to change at any time:
We offer 4 shipping options:
US Ground shipping takes 7-9* business days $10.00, excluding AK, HI, PR
US Air shipping takes 2-3* business days $30.00, including AK, HI, PR
Canada Air shipping takes 3-5* business days $40.00**
International shipping takes 8-14* business days $60.00**
** We are not responsible for any duties or taxes charged by Customs for International deliveries.

Order Processing :
Your order will be processed within 1-5 business days of you place your order. Most orders are placed with the manufacturer upon processing your order, some are from our warehouse.

Contingent on manufacturer availability, your order will be shipped within 3 -4 business days of your order being processed and placed with the manufacturer. At such time your items will be either GROUND or AIR shipped depending on your chosen method of shipping on your order form.

Please Note: Incorrect billing information and/or shipping to an alternate address may cause shipping delays, as these orders must be verified.

Tracking your Order :
We send a shipping confirmation e-mail after we or manufacturer ship the items. Please  e-mail us coto333@homail.com if you do not receive the confirmation e-mail.
